A while ago, a group of Professional Chinese Language Educators on the east side of the Pacific were banning their heads, trying to figure out the most practical way for their students to practice Chinese speaking on a daily base. They want their students to get rid of the usual GuiLao tunes fast, without having to spend a lot of money and time traveling or living on the other side of the ocean. Unknowingly to them, some of their counterparts on the west side of the ocean were trying to solve the opposite problem. One day, the tutors ran into each other on the Web. They soon realized that, their students could help each other by SKYPEing  (Speaking good English & Chinese by Keeping up Your Practice Everyday with the natives). But they were one step too late, and the SKYPE name was snapped up by you-know-who. So here came CafeMECX, and the way of practicing English/Chinese speaking was changed forever.
